Gosforth Nursery provides full day care and education for children and babies from four months of age from its purpose-built premises situated in the grounds of Gosforth School.
The Nursery is open between 7.30am and 5pm throughout the year and provides a flexible approach to meet the individual needs of families accessing our services. We offer places under the Working Families Entitlement for children from 9 months of age and accept payment through the government Tax Free Childcare scheme.
We work within the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum with a play-based approach to children's learning, planning a range of activities and experiences to help children make progress in all areas of learning and development. We place high importance on the benefits of outdoor play and have excellent outdoor facilities for all ages of children.
Out of school care is also available for children attending Gosforth C of E Primary School. This includes breakfast and after school clubs and holiday club during school holiday periods, offering a wide range of activities.
